The World Green Economy Summit remains the premier international platform for strategic partnerships and innovative solutions seeking to accelerate the transition in to the green economy. Under the theme “Driving Global Green Economy”, and to foster this type of collaborations, the WGES 2016 programme will include sessions like:

  • Green Finance: Mobilising and Scaling
  • Solar Energy: Global Leadership
  • Sustainability, Smart Technology and People
  • Post Paris Climate Deal – Road to COP22
  • Thought Leadership for the Green Economy

The Summit is organised around key sessions and the PPP Platform/Networking area with exclusively dedicated time for networking and attending workshops. Furthermore, it will include in-depth sessions on elements like sustainable consumption, sustainable production, green transport, waste, water and other specialised topics. On this and previous editions, special announcements are to be made during the day. The programme is developed in close collaboration with our partners.
